* At 508 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Smoaks,
moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Saint George, Givhans Ferry State Park, Dorchester, Colleton,
Harleyville, Reevesville, Smoaks, Lodge, Williams and Canadys.

This includes the following highways...
	I-26 between mile markers 170 and 186.
	I-95 in South Carolina between mile markers 64 and 85.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

COUNTIES UNTIL 545 AM EDT...

At 502 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles north of Smoaks, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Saint George, Colleton, Harleyville, Reevesville, Smoaks, Lodge,
Williams, Canadys, Padgetts and Grover.

This includes the following highways...
	I-26 between mile markers 170 and 182.
