At 526 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5 miles north of Spartanburg, or 4 miles east of Boiling Springs SC, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Spartanburg, Boiling Springs SC, Cowpens, Mayo, Pacolet Mills, USC Upstate, Cedar Springs, and Pacolet.
