...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 3 PM EDT SUNDAY... * WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level expected in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal waterways (4.6 to 5.5 feet Mean Lower Low Water). * WHERE...Washington, and Newport RI Counties. * WHEN...From 11 AM to 3 PM EDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Mainly the ocean exposed coastline of Rhode Island will be impacted with minor inundation at high tide. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
