* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6
inches with localized 7 inch amounts possible.

* WHERE...Southeast Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

* WHEN...From 7 AM this morning to 7 AM EST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Periods of snow
develop Sunday morning and continue at times into Sunday
afternoon. The heaviest of the snow will occur late Sunday
afternoon and night...when snowfall rates may exceed 1 inch per
hour. While the steadiest snow should be over by daybreak Monday...
snow showers may linger into the Monday morning commute making for
hazardous travel.

Temperatures around freezing overnight may lead to patches of
black ice due to freezing standing water from today's snow and
rain. Motorists and pedestrians should use caution when heading
out this evening, as some surfaces may appear wet but could be
slick. Conditions will improve Sunday morning as temperatures
climb above freezing.
