* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Delaware, including the following areas,
Delaware Beaches, Inland Sussex, Kent and New Castle, northeast
Maryland, including the following areas, Caroline, Kent MD, Queen
Annes and Talbot, New Jersey, including the following areas,
Atlantic, Atlantic Coastal Cape May, Camden, Cape May, Coastal
Atlantic, Coastal Ocean, Cumberland, Eastern Monmouth, Gloucester,
Northwestern Burlington, Ocean, Salem, Southeastern Burlington and
Western Monmouth, and Pennsylvania, including the following areas,
Berks, Delaware, Eastern Chester, Eastern Montgomery, Lower Bucks,
Philadelphia, Western Chester and Western Montgomery.

* WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A frontal boundary will collide with a tropical airmass and
produce widespread showers and thunderstorms this afternoon
into tonight. Rainfall rates of up to 2 inches per hour or
more will be possible, leading to flash flooding.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS
EVENING FOR NORTHWESTERN BURLINGTON, NORTHWESTERN CAMDEN,
SOUTHEASTERN BUCKS, EAST CENTRAL MONTGOMERY AND NORTHEASTERN
PHILADELPHIA COUNTIES...

At 640 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain in Bensalem and Northeast Philadelphia,
flooding along US Route 1 with lane closures. Between 1 and 2 inches
of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
drainage and low lying areas.

Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
Philadelphia, Camden, Bensalem, Willingboro, Florence, Burlington,
Bristol, Riverside, Palmyra, Hatboro, Jenkintown and Beverly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.
