...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 4 PM EST THURSDAY... * WHAT...Snow expected. Additional snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches. Higher amounts possible on the ridge tops. Winds gusting into the 20s and 30s. * WHERE...Cameron, Elk, and Potter Counties. * WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to 4 PM EST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening and Thursday morning commutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A few heavy snow squalls will likely occur later this evening. This will significantly ramp up the snow accumulation and greatly reduce this visibility at times to below one quarter of a mile. Wind chills will be near zero later tonight and Thursday.
