...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MOVING SOUTH ACROSS THE REGION EARLY THIS EVENING... An area of strong thunderstorms, located just to the north of Interstate 80, from Pine Glen to Mackeyville at 650 pm will be moving South across the area through 830 pm, before gradually weakening near and to the south of a line from Tyrone to Lewistown. * Wind gusts out of the north up to 45 MPH. * Pea to dime size hail possible. * A 10 minute period of very heavy rainfall. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. The storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from your National Weather Service.
