...THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE AREA THIS AFTERNOON... Thunderstorms continue to move very slowly across northeastern Pennsylvania into western portions of the Catskills. Torrential downpours are the main threat with these thunderstorms. Isolated to scattered instances of flash flooding could occur where storms stall, back build or train over the same locations. Locations that saw excessive rainfall and flooding yesterday will also be more vulnerable to flash flooding. Remain weather aware and have a plan on what to do if strong thunderstorms or flash flooding strikes.
