FOR NORTHWESTERN LEHIGH...SOUTHEASTERN CARBON...SOUTHWESTERN MONROE
AND WEST CENTRAL NORTHAMPTON COUNTIES...

At 341 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near New Mahoning,
or near Lehighton, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Allentown, Lehighton, Northampton, Palmerton, Jim Thorpe, Slatington,
Nesquehoning, Weatherly, Walnutport, New Mahoning, Kunkletown, Neffs,
Coffeetown, New Tripoli, Berlinsville, Emerald, Claussville,
Danielsville, Wanamakers, and Beltzville State Park.

This includes the following highways...
Northeast Extension between mile markers 56 and 81.
Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 49 and 55.
