At 638 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Gibsonia, or
near McCandless Township, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some power
outages.

Locations impacted include...
Shaler Township, Plum, Hampton Township, O'hara Township, Oakmont,
Fox Chapel, Tarentum, Cheswick, Russellton, and Curtisville.

* At 620 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
