At 334 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over New Mahoning,
moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Tamaqua, Orwigsburg, Mcadoo, Hometown, Tuscarora, Grier City-Park
Crest, Delano, McKeansburg, Coaldale, Snyders, Locust Lake State
Park, and Deer Lake.

This includes Interstate 81 from mile markers 132 to 138.

heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
