Central Clarion County in west central Pennsylvania... * Until 1145 PM EDT. * At 929 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported multiple instances of road and home flooding along US322 near Clarion and Strattanville. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. Heavy rain has ended but water can continue to rise. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Clarion, Knox, Sligo, Strattanville, Limestone, Shippenville and Callensburg. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
