...LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST MONDAY... * WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations between 3 and 10 inches, heaviest across southern Erie County and parts of Crawford County. Locations north of I-90 in Erie County will see the lower end of the accumulation range. * WHERE...Crawford, Northern Erie, and Southern Erie Counties. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow on Sunday. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Lake effect snow squalls are expected to be most intense late tonight through Sunday afternoon. Snow squalls may produce near zero visibility and snow rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour at times on Sunday, especially in the higher terrain inland from Lake Erie. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
