At 429 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. The expected rainfall rate is 2.5
to 3.5 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...911 Call Center reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Punxsutawney, Clarion, Brookville, Knox, Rimersburg, Reynoldsville,
Brockway, New Bethlehem, Sykesville, Falls Creek, East Brady,
Parker, Sligo, Big Run, Strattanville, Summerville, Limestone,
Hawthorn and Shippenville.
