South Central Clarion County in west central Pennsylvania... Northwestern Indiana County in west central Pennsylvania... Southwestern Jefferson PA County in west central Pennsylvania... * WHEN...Until 600 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 332 PM EDT, radar indicated that the heaviest rain from thunderstorms had exited the warned area, but flooding persists. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Kittanning, Ford City, West Kittanning, Rural Valley, Worthington, Dayton, West Hills, Manorville, Ford Cliff, Applewold, Lenape Heights, Timblin, Templeton, Distant and Mahoning Creek Lake. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 119 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms resulted in flooding that is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area.
