At 537 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Sarver, or 11
miles south of Butler, moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Butler, Harrison Township, Homeacre-Lyndora, Shanor-Northvue,
Meridian, Meadowood, Oak Hills, Sarver, Evans City, Freeport,
Saxonburg, Russellton, Nixon, Curtisville, East Butler,
Connoquenessing and Crooked Creek Lake Park.

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.

* At 528 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
