* WHAT...Heat index values up to 100.

* WHERE...A portion of central Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
related illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A combination of increasing cloud cover and
scattered thunderstorms will keep temperatures lower on Wednesday,
prompting an earlier expiration of the Heat Advisory.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun, and stay in an
air-conditioned room.

Check up on relatives and neighbors, and provide pets with adequate
water and shelter from the sun.

Wear lightweight and loose fitting clothing.

In addition to the daytime heat, overnight low temperatures will
also be very warm and oppressively muggy.
