IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Kittanning, Ford City, West Kittanning, Rural Valley, Dayton, West Hills, Manorville, Ford Cliff, Elderton, Applewold, Creekside, Lenape Heights, Shelocta, Atwood, Crooked Creek Lake Park and Mahoning Creek Lake. Wires were reported down in Armstrong county. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm has produced damaging winds. Wind gusts from 40 to 50 mph will be possible in the strongest storms, along with brief heavy rain. With saturated soil, this could result in a few downed trees, and ponding of water on roads. Small tree limbs could also be blown down. Use caution when encountering these storms.
