Seas 9 to 12 ft at 16 seconds and southeast winds 5 to 10 kt expected. * WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar. * WHEN...From 4 AM Wednesday to 4 PM PST Friday. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft, especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the Columbia River Bar. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ebb current of 4.77 kt at 614 AM Wednesday. Seas 10 to 11 ft. Ebb current of 5.55 kt at 621 PM Wednesday. Seas 11 to 12 ft. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River Bar. ...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT IN EFFECT FROM EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT... * WHAT...Sneaker waves possible. * WHERE...North and Central Coast of Oregon, and South Washington Coast. * WHEN...From 4 AM PST Wednesday through 1 AM PST Thursday. * IMPACTS...Waves can run up significantly farther on a beach than normal, including over rocks and jetties. Sneaker waves can suddenly knock people off of their feet and quickly pull them into the frigid ocean which may lead to serious injury or drowning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Caution should be used when in or near the water, especially those who will be razor clamming. Keep children and pets away from the surf zone. Keep off of jetties, rocks and logs near the surf zone. If you see someone swept into the sea do not swim in after them. Call 911 and keep an eye on them until help arrives. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions. &&
