* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Northwest Oregon and southwest Washington including the
following counties. In Oregon: Benton, Clackamas, Clatsop,
Columbia, Hood River, Lane, Linn, Lincoln, Marion, Multnomah,
Polk, Tillamook, Washington, and Yamhill. In Washington: Clark,
Cowlitz, Pacific, Skamania, and Wahkiakum.

* WHEN...Through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
Landslides and debris flows are possible during this flood event.
People, structures, and roads located below steep slopes, in
canyons, and near the mouths of canyons may be at serious risk
from rapidly moving landslides.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Although heavy rain has ended, widespread river flooding is
expected to continue through Friday night, except through
Saturday along slower responding rivers.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations 1 to 3 inches at pass
level, and 4 to 8 inches above 5000-5500 feet. Winds gusting as
high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...In Oregon, North Oregon Cascades and Cascades of Marion
and Linn Counties. In Washington, South Washington Cascades.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Have a winter emergency driving kit readily available. Common items
to include: flashlight, batteries, blankets, a shovel, water,
non-perishable food items, tire chains, etc.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TUESDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Pudding River at Aurora.

* WHEN...Until late Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Above 27.0 feet, expect widespread flooding of numerous
secondary roads and agricultural land.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:00 AM PST Friday the stage was 20.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 21.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this afternoon and will crest around 26.3 feet Saturday
afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late Tuesday.
- Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
