If driving, slow down and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
Pedestrians and cyclists should wear bright or reflective clothing
to increase the chances of being seen by others in poor visibility
conditions.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...From 11 AM to 4 PM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft,
especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the
Columbia River Bar.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ebb current of 4.37 kt at 1248 PM Tuesday.
Seas 9 ft. Ebb current of 1.73 kt at 114 AM Wednesday. Seas 8
ft. Ebb current of 4.67 kt at 140 PM Wednesday. Seas 11 to 12
ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to
be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River
Bar. Mariners are advised to obtain the latest bar conditions
from the United States Coast Guard before attempting to cross the
bar.
