* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, seas 6 to 11 ft at 9
seconds and south winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts up to 35 kt. For
the Gale Warning, seas 11 to 16 ft at 12 seconds and south winds
25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 50 kt expected. Isolated storm-
force gusts in excess of 50 kt possible. For the Hazardous Seas
Watch, very steep and hazardous seas 12 to 17 ft at 14 seconds
and south winds 25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 40 kt possible.

* WHERE...Inner Coastal Waters from Cape Shoalwater to Florence
out 10 NM.

* WHEN...Small Craft Advisory, until 11 AM PDT Tuesday. Gale
Warning, from 11 AM Tuesday to 2 AM PDT Wednesday. Hazardous
Seas Watch, from late Tuesday night through late Wednesday
night.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Seas may briefly fall below 10 ft this
afternoon into this evening, but are expected to build again as
a strong cold front crosses the waters Tuesday.

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
