* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Tualatin River near Dilley.

* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS...Above 17.5 feet, several minor roads begin to flood and
may be closed. Widespread lowland agricultural flooding occurs at
this and higher stages.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM PST Friday the stage was 17.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:30 PM PST Friday was 17.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 15.2 feet
Monday, December 29.
- Flood stage is 17.5 feet.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Northwest Oregon and southwest Washington including the
following counties. In Oregon: Benton, Clackamas, Clatsop,
Columbia, Hood River, Lane, Linn, Lincoln, Marion, Multnomah,
Polk, Tillamook, Washington, and Yamhill. In Washington: Clark,
Cowlitz, Pacific, Skamania, and Wahkiakum.

* WHEN...Through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
Landslides and debris flows are possible during this flood event.
People, structures, and roads located below steep slopes, in
canyons, and near the mouths of canyons may be at serious risk
from rapidly moving landslides.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Although heavy rain has ended, widespread river flooding is
expected to continue through Friday night, except through
Saturday along slower responding rivers.
