...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN UMATILLA...WALLA WALLA...SOUTH CENTRAL FRANKLIN AND SOUTHWESTERN COLUMBIA COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM PDT... At 553 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Wallula to 7 miles northeast of Touchet to near Walla Walla to 7 miles east of Weston. Movement was northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Walla Walla, College Place, Waitsburg, Prescott, Dixie, Huntsville, Garrett, Snake River, Eureka, and Kooskooskie. This includes the following highways... Highway 11 between mile markers 33 and 35. Highway 12 between mile markers 326 and 365. Highway 204 near mile marker 9. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
