...HAZARDOUS SEAS WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 4 PM PST
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Northwest 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt. Steep seas
10 to 14 ft at 14 seconds through this evening, becoming very
steep and hazardous 14 to 16 ft at 12 seconds. Conditions
improve some Monday afternoon as north winds ease to 15 to 20 kt
with gusts up to 25 kt and seas lower to 10 to 12 ft at 12
seconds.

* WHERE...All areas will experience conditions hazardous to
small craft. Very steep warning level seas are expected beyond
1 to 2 nm from shore south of Cape Blanco and beyond 10 nm
from shore south of Cape Arago.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, Until 4 AM PST Tuesday.
For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 4 AM to 4 PM PST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
damage vessels. Bar crossings will become especially
treacherous.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Recreational boaters should remain in port. Commercial vessels
should prepare for very steep seas and consider remaining in port
until conditions improve.
