residences and buildings along the lower Clackamas River,
including the mobile home park just downstream of Carver Bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:00 AM PST Thursday the stage was 28.6 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 38.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this
evening to 45.3 feet late tomorrow morning. It will then fall
below flood stage early Saturday morning.

is about 6 inches shy of the January 2011 flood event.

* WHERE...Sandy River near Bull Run.

* IMPACTS...Above 21.5 feet, expect significant bank erosion, large
amounts of debris in the river, and flooding of low areas along
the river, especially in the lower reach of the Sandy near
Troutdale.

- Bankfull stage is 18.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this evening
and crest around 21.2 feet early Friday morning. It will fall

secondary roads and agricultural land.

late tonight to a crest of 27.3 feet late Saturday morning.

slightly exceeds the February 1996 flood.

* WHERE...Molalla River near Canby.

* WHEN...From late tonight to tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...Above 25.0 feet, expect major flooding from Canby to the
Willamette River. Historically, businesses along Hwy 99E in West
Canby have been threatened by high water at this point. Flooding
in the community of Barlow can be expected at this and higher
stages, along with flooding of numerous homes and agricultural
land.

- At 4:00 AM PST Thursday the stage was 14.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage tonight
before cresting around 25.1 feet Friday morning before then

residential and commercial areas along Johnson Creek.

- At 1:30 PM PST Wednesday the stage was 5.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise abruptly above flood stage
today and crest late this evening around 14.8 feet before
falling below flood stage early Friday morning.

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Northwest Oregon and southwest Washington including the
following counties. In Oregon: Benton, Clackamas, Clatsop,
Columbia, Hood River, Lane, Linn, Lincoln, Marion, Multnomah,
Polk, Tillamook, Washington, and Yamhill. In Washington: Clark,
Cowlitz, Pacific, Skamania, and Wahkiakum.

* WHEN...Through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains
and ditches may become clogged with debris. Area creeks and
streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
Landslides and debris flows are possible during this flood event.
People, structures, and roads located below steep slopes, in
canyons, and near the mouths of canyons may be at serious risk
from rapidly moving landslides.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- An atmospheric river is forecast to bring periods of heavy
rain to northwestern Oregon and southwestern Washington
today. This system occurs at a time when area rivers continue
to run high and soils remain saturated following heavy rain
earlier in the month. During initial heavy rainfall today,
the urban and small stream flooding threat will be most
urgent, although the details of precise timing and location
of the highest risk remains uncertain at this time. As runoff
works its way downstream, the river flooding threat will
increase tonight into Friday, with numerous area rivers now
forecast to reach at least Minor flood stage. Slower reacting
rivers may stay in flood stage into Saturday afternoon.

* WHAT...South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

Adjacent River Valleys of Pacific and Wahkiakum Counties, Lower
Columbia River and Cowlitz River Valleys, North Oregon Coast Range
Lowlands, North Oregon Coast Range, and South Washington Cascade
Foothills.

* WHEN...From 8 AM to 7 PM PST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects such as garbage cans and
other objects that can easily blow around.
