The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Gale
Warning...which is in effect from 11 AM Thursday to 5 AM PDT
Saturday. A Small Craft Advisory has also been issued. This Small
Craft Advisory is in effect from 11 AM Thursday to 5 AM PDT
Sunday. The Hazardous Seas Watch is no longer in effect.

* Winds...North 15 to 25 kt, diminishing below 15 kt this morning.
Thursday afternoon through Friday night, north winds increasing
to 25 to 35 kt with gusts to 45 kt.

* Seas...Choppy and wind driven at 6 to 8 ft, subsiding to around
5 feet by late this morning. Thursday through Friday night,
choppy wind driven seas redeveloping and building to 8 to 13
feet.

* Areas affected...Advisory conditions from Port Orford south
this morning. Thursday afternoon through Friday night...all
areas will have winds and seas hazardous to small craft. Gales
and very steep seas are expected from Port Orford southward and
beyond about 3 nm from shore.

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

A Small Craft Advisory means that winds and seas will create a
potential hazard to smaller vessels and inexperienced mariners.
