...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 11 AM PDT
WEDNESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Small Craft
Advisory...which is in effect from noon today to 11 AM PDT
Wednesday.

* Winds...Increasing to south 15 to 25 kt by noon with brief gusts
to 35 kt as winds peak early this evening. Winds will then
remain almost as strong as they veer to west tonight and
northwest on Tuesday.

* Seas...Becoming steep and wind wave dominated by noon today.
Wind waves will peak early this evening then west swell will
build into Tuesday. Seas will begin to diminish later Tuesday,
but seas will remain high and steep through Wednesday morning
with a shortening period.

* Areas affected...All of the waters will be affected by advisory
strength south winds and steep seas this afternoon into this
evening. Conditions will then persist at Advisory strength
through Wednesday morning. Seas at mid-week may become very
steep.
