...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOW IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 2 PM PST SATURDAY... * WHAT...Tidal overflow flooding expected. * WHERE...Clatsop and Tillamook Coast, and South Washington Coast. * WHEN...From 10 AM to 2 PM PST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding, up to one foot above ground level, during high tides is expected in the low lying areas near bays, sloughs, and the lower reaches of the coastal rivers. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The tidal gauge at Toke Point has a forecast tides of up to 11.8 feet, while the tidal gauge at Garibaldi has a forecast tide up to 10.8 feet. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Coastal Flood Advisory means that tidal overflow flooding is expected. Coastal residents in the warned area should be alert for rising water, and take appropriate action to protect life and property. &&

Seas 8 ft. For the second Small Craft Advisory, seas 7 to 12 ft at 12 seconds and southeast winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt expected. * WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar. * WHEN...Small Craft Advisory, until 6 PM PST this evening. Small Craft Advisory, from 1 AM to 7 PM PST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft, especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the Columbia River Bar. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ebb current of 3.49 kt at 415 AM Saturday. Seas 6 to 7 ft. Very strong ebb current of 7.24 kt at 427 PM Saturday. Seas 10 to 11 ft. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River Bar.
