* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, rough bar conditions
expected. Seas 9 to 12 ft at 14 seconds and southwest winds 15
to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Occasional gusts up to 35 kt
possible from 2000 Sat to 0200 Sunday. For the Hazardous Seas
Warning, very steep and hazardous seas 13 to 17 ft at 15 seconds
and west winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt expected.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Small Craft Advisory, until 8 AM PDT Sunday. Hazardous
Seas Warning, from 8 AM to 11 PM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or cause
damage to vessels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Ebb current of 4.67 kt at 335 PM Saturday.
Seas 9 ft. Ebb current of 4.23 kt at 349 AM Sunday. Seas 9 to 10
ft. Ebb current of 5.16 kt at 414 PM Sunday. Seas 12 to 15 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Hazardous Seas Warning means hazardous sea conditions are
imminent or occurring. Recreational boaters should remain in
port, or take shelter until waves subside.  Commercial vessels
should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in port or
taking shelter in port until hazardous seas subside.
