...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM PST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Rough bar conditions expected. Seas 8 to 13 ft at 17
seconds and south winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt.

* WHERE...In the Main Channel of the Columbia River Bar.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM PST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft,
especially when operating near to, or attempting to cross, the
Columbia River Bar.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind gusts will decrease below 20 kts after
4 PM PST Monday, but seas are forecast to remain above 10 ft
beyond this. Very strong ebb current of 6.74 kt at 415 PM
Sunday. Seas 12 to 13 ft. Ebb current of 4.23 kt at 449 AM
Monday. Seas 11 to 13 ft. Very strong ebb current of 6.58 kt at
500 PM Monday. Seas 12 to 13 ft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wave conditions are expected to
be hazardous to small craft in the vicinity of the Columbia River
Bar. Mariners are advised to obtain the latest bar conditions
from the United States Coast Guard before attempting to cross the
bar.

...BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Sneaker waves possible.

* WHERE...North and Central Coast of Oregon, and South Washington
Coast.

* WHEN...Through Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Waves can run up significantly farther on a beach than
normal, including over rocks and jetties. Sneaker waves can
suddenly knock people off of their feet and quickly pull them
into the frigid ocean which may lead to serious injury or
drowning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Keep children and pets away from the surf
zone. Keep off of jetties, rocks and logs near the surf zone. If
you see someone swept into the sea do not swim in after them.
Call 911 and keep an eye on them until help arrives.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.
