...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Cimarron River near Waynoka.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Expect shallow flooding of agricultural
lands along the river. Some fields may be isolated by deep flows
in cutoff channels meandering across the flood plain. The river
reach affected extends from near Freedom upstream... to the U.S.
Highway 281 crossing south of Little Sahara State Park near
Waynoka... to near Orienta in Major County.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 8.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will fall to 8.1 feet early tomorrow
afternoon. It will then rise to 8.4 feet Tuesday morning. It
will fall to 8.1 feet Tuesday evening. It will then rise to
8.2 feet early Wednesday morning. It will fall below flood
stage late Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
