Low-lying bottomlands near the river may be cut off from easy access by high water in side channels. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. At 7:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was estimated at 10.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Forecast...The Canadian River is expected to rise to a crest of 12.3 feet just after midnight tonight. - Action stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood stage is 14.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood &&

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of Oklahoma, including the following counties, Atoka, Beckham, Blaine, Bryan, Caddo, Canadian, Carter, Cleveland, Coal, Comanche, Cotton, Custer, Garfield, Garvin, Grady, Greer, Harmon, Hughes, Jackson, Jefferson, Johnston, Kay, Kingfisher, Kiowa, Lincoln, Logan, Love, Marshall, McClain, Murray, Noble, Oklahoma, Payne, Pontotoc, Pottawatomie, Seminole, Stephens, Tillman and Washita and northern Texas, including the following counties, Archer, Baylor, Clay, Foard, Hardeman, Knox, Wichita and Wilbarger. * WHEN...Through late tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
