...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southern Oklahoma, including the following counties, Carter, Love and Murray. * WHEN...Until 700 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 418 PM CDT, Local officials reported flooding along numerous roadways earlier today. Flooding remains likely in areas where 2 to 5 inches of rain fell. - Most of the rainfall has ended, but additional localized rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ardmore, Marietta, Lone Grove, Healdton, Wilson, Thackerville, Tatums, Overbrook, Lake Murray, Milo, Graham and Pooleville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
