...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Chikaskia River near Blackwell.

* WHEN...Until late tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Several residences may be surrounded with
street depths approaching 2 feet in the northeast portions of
Blackwell. Highway 177 north of Blackwell may be flooded... while
Hubbard Road may be impassable southeast of Blackwell. Rural lands
are covered by floodwaters ranging up to 2 feet in depth in
extreme northeastern Grant and Kay counties.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:30 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 29.9 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 28.0 feet.
- Forecast...The Chikaskia River is expected to fall below
flood stage late this evening and continue falling.
- Flood stage is 29.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of central, northern, southeast, and southern
Oklahoma, including the following counties, in central Oklahoma,
Kingfisher, Logan and Payne. In northern Oklahoma, Garfield,
Grant, Kay and Noble. In southeast Oklahoma, Bryan and Marshall.
In southern Oklahoma, Carter.

* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Multiple rounds of thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are
possible this afternoon, evening and into Wednesday morning.
