...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1045 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Oklahoma, including
the following counties, in east central Oklahoma, Pontotoc. In
southeast Oklahoma, Atoka, Coal, Hughes and Johnston.

* WHEN...Until 1045 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 751 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Coalgate, Wapanucka, Stringtown, Lehigh, Tupelo, Centrahoma,
Olney, Wardville, Phillips, Atoka Reservoir, Chockie and
Jesse.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by prior excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Oklahoma, including
the following counties, in east central Oklahoma, Pontotoc and
Seminole. In southeast Oklahoma, Hughes.

* WHEN...Until 915 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take
several hours for all the water from these storms to work through
local drainage systems.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 619 PM CDT, heavy rain has ended, but flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 3
and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional heavy
rainfall is expected. Lingering showers will persist in some
areas.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Holdenville, Wetumka, Allen, Dustin, Calvin, Lamar, Horntown,
Yeager, Atwood and Spaulding.
