At 551 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong thunderstorms 9 miles east of Broken Bow, or 14 miles west of Horatio, moving south at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Ashdown, Foreman, Idabel, Wilton, Winthrop, Arkinda, Richmond, Haworth, Wallace, America, Tom, Moon, Shinewell, Bokhoma, Arden, Goodwater, Goodlake, Harris and Pine Prairie. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
