* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE...Poteau River near Panama.

* WHEN...Until early Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 37.0 feet, extensive flooding of crop and
pasturelands occur between Shady Point and Arkoma. Many roads in
the floodplain become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 31.7 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 38.0
feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 29.0 feet.

and farm roads from southeast of Poteau to the mouth of Brazil
Creek.

- At 7:45 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 26.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 27.0
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
this evening.
- Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

southeast Oklahoma, Haskell, Latimer and Le Flore.

* WHEN...Until 1130 AM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1137 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area.
Between 2.5 and 5 inches of rain have fallen.
