At 841 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Fletcher to 5 miles southwest of Duncan to 5 miles north of Byers, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Duncan, Chickasha, Marlow, Elgin, Comanche, Rush Springs, Bray, Fletcher, Cyril, Temple, Sterling, Cement, Norge, Agawam, Corum, Waurika Lake, Central High, Ninnekah, Empire City, and Acme. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen this evening. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area before 9 PM. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
