CADDO...STEPHENS AND NORTHEASTERN COTTON COUNTIES...

At 841 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Fletcher to 5 miles southwest of Duncan to 5
miles north of Byers, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Duncan, Chickasha, Marlow, Elgin, Comanche, Rush Springs, Bray,
Fletcher, Cyril, Temple, Sterling, Cement, Norge, Agawam, Corum,
Waurika Lake, Central High, Ninnekah, Empire City, and Acme.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Comanche County in southwestern Oklahoma...

* Until 1030 PM CDT.

* At 824 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen this evening. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to
1.5 inches are possible in the warned area before 9 PM.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Lawton.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Oklahoma, including the following
county, Comanche.

* WHEN...Until 930 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 736 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain
has fallen in less than an hour.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
