At 1103 PM CDT, Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that northbound I-35 is shut down due to flooding at I-44 in the north OKC. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area...but rainfall rates are decreasing. Runoff will result in continued flash flooding. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
