high as 110 and heat indices as high as 112. Heat indices as high
as 110 on Friday. Overnight lows only drop to about 80 each
morning.

* WHERE...Kingfisher, Logan, Payne, Garfield, Grant, Kay, Noble,
Alfalfa, Major, and Woods Counties.

* WHEN...For the first Heat Advisory, until noon CDT today. For the
Extreme Heat Warning, from noon today to 7 PM CDT this evening. For
the second Heat Advisory, from 7 PM this evening to 8 PM CDT
Friday.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
humidity may cause heat illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
