...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...The following counties, in west central Ohio, Champaign, Clark, Greene, Miami and Montgomery. * WHEN...Until 330 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1126 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported minor flooding on several roadways. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Dayton, Kettering, Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Fairborn, Troy, Trotwood, Miamisburg, Vandalia, Englewood, Urbana, Tipp City, Bellbrook, Moraine, New Carlisle, Oakwood, Wright- Patterson Afb, West Carrollton, St. Paris and West Liberty. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Backwater flooding may impact Route 725 in Sugarcreek Township, along with flooding of Washington Mill Road near Bellbrook. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 6:00 AM EDT Saturday the stage was 10.7 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage this morning. It will crest around 11.5 feet tonight. The river will fall below flood stage Sunday afternoon. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. &&
