...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM EDT THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northwest Ohio, including the following counties, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky and Wood. * WHEN...Until 645 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 337 PM EDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain in the advisory area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Toledo, Bowling Green, Port Clinton, Perrysburg, Oregon, Sylvania, Rossford, Waterville, Northwood, Whitehouse, North Baltimore, Oak Harbor, Gibsonburg, Genoa, Woodville, Holland, Weston, Elmore, Maumee and Ottawa Hills. - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information.
