...GALE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING... * WHAT...Expect sustained winds up to 34 knots from the west with gusts up to 47 knots. The largest significant waves will be 2 feet with a potential maximum wave height of 3 feet. * WHERE...Michigan Waters of Lake Erie from Detroit River to North Cape MI. * WHEN...The maximum winds are expected around 8 AM EST Monday with the largest waves expected around 7 AM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong cold front tracks through the area Monday morning and may lead to a brief period of storm force gusts to 50 knots. Strong west-southwest winds are forecast to cause water levels to drop below low water datum Monday. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
