...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Portage River at Woodville.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 15.0 feet, FEMA 1 percent flood level. Flood waters
affect several low lying roads in Woodville including Erie Street,
South Cherry Street, Riverside Drive, East Main Street, and Water
Street. Backwater from Victoria Creek flood Fort Findlay Road and
Grand Avenue. Half a dozen homes inundated in Pemberville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:30 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 14.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.8
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage Saturday evening.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
14.7 feet on 02/07/2008.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Maumee River at Waterville.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Floodwaters can back up through storm
drains onto Water Street in Waterville making roads inaccessible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 12.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 12.6 feet tomorrow evening.
It will then fall early Saturday afternoon. It will rise to
12.6 feet Sunday evening. It will then fall again but remain
above flood stage.
- Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
