Flooding also affects Buckeye Lake Estates. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 3:45 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 878.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening to a crest of 880.2 feet late this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight. - Flood stage is 880.0 feet. &&

Northeastern Ross County in south central Ohio... Southeastern Greene County in west central Ohio... * WHEN...Until 600 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 301 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Columbus, Newark, Dublin, Lancaster, Reynoldsburg, Grove City, Upper Arlington, Gahanna, Hilliard, Pickerington, Washington Court House, Worthington, Circleville, Bexley, Heath, Logan, Granville, Pataskala and Canal Winchester. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Keep children away from storm drains, culverts, creeks and streams. Water levels can rise rapidly and sweep children away. Locally heavy rainfall can be expected with the potential for storms to repeatedly track over the same locations. This will result in the potential for flash flooding.
