...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 AM EDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Northeastern Butler County in southwestern Ohio... Northern Warren County in southwestern Ohio... * WHEN...Until 715 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 337 AM EDT, radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Middletown, Lebanon, Springboro, Monroe, Trenton, Franklin, Carlisle, South Middletown, Waynesville, Seven Mile, Hunter, Corwin, Somerville, Jacksonburg, Poast Town Heights, Pekin, Five Points, State Route 48 at State Route 73, Genntown and Lytle. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
