...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT MONDAY... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Ohio, including the following counties, Athens, Jackson, Meigs, Morgan, Perry and Vinton. * WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT Monday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 738 PM EDT, several roads in parts of southeast Ohio remain closed due to minor flooding from heavy rain since Friday. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain had fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but little if any additional rainfall is expected through the night. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Athens, Wellston, Nelsonville, Glouster, Mcarthur, Albany, Shawnee, Lake Hope State Park, Chauncey, Hamden, New Straitsville, Corning, Buchtel, Jacksonville, Coalton, Trimble, Zaleski, Hemlock, Amesville and Rendville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
