...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Ohio, including
the following counties, in north central Ohio, Ashland, Crawford,
Huron, Lorain and Richland. In northeast Ohio, Medina and Wayne.

* WHEN...Until 1100 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 752 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mansfield, Medina, Wooster, Ashland, Norwalk, Brunswick,
Wadsworth, Shelby, Orrville, Bellevue, Grafton, Rittman,
Willard, Wellington, Doylestown, Lodi, New London, Creston,
Plymouth and West Salem.

At 747 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Chippewa Lake to near Wellington to near New
London, moving north at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
