North Central Mason County in western West Virginia... * WHEN...Until 900 AM EDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Significant flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads still remain closed due to significant flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 821 PM EDT, Department of highways reported numerous roads that were flooded in the warned area due to heavy rain from earlier thunderstorms. Significant flooding is ongoing. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Athens, Pomeroy, Coolville, Rutland, Forked Run State Park, Mason, Tuppers Plains, Middleport, Chester, Syracuse, Hartford City, Darwin, Harrisonville, Dexter, Dyesville, Reedsville, Portland and Salem Center. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
