...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EDT THIS MORNING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of northeast Ohio, including the following counties, Mahoning and Trumbull. * WHEN...Until 700 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 443 AM EDT, Heavy rain has fallen across the warned area since Tuesday evening. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Law enforcement reports that some roads remain flooded across the area, especially across Trumbull County. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.3 inches are possible in the warned area early this morning. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Youngstown, Warren, Boardman, Niles, Campbell, Hubbard, Canfield, Newton Falls, Lordstown, Hilltop, Vienna Center, Leavittsburg, Maplewood Park, Austintown, Struthers, Girard, Vienna, McDonald, Poland and Windham. - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information.
